After 24 hrs of mourning, I'm ready to move on.
I think we all know how disappointing the Bears loss was. I saw a headline after the Colts-Pats game that read "Peyton giveth, Peyton taketh away". I guess its still true.
Summing it up: Game sucked, Commercials sucked and even Prince pretty much sucked. The pre-game show doesn't even require comment.
But, as my friend Derek pointed out, there's no value in wallowing. "Go Cubs!" says he. Indeed we're breaking into baseball season. Fresh disappointment (and hope!) awaits just around the corner.
My nails are still Bears-ed up though. Navy Blue isn't too professional, so I'll probably have to change it up for the Career Fair this week. Sigh.
Time to move on.

Peyton giveth, Peyton taketh away

there truly is only one thing to say: go cubs.
I agree 100% that the game and commercials sucked.
However, I thought Prince was pretty good, considering he had a good chance of being remembered as "Former Prince" after electrocution. And you had to laugh at the image projected onto the orange sheet while he was playing his phallic guitar. That was the funniest part of the entire evening. If you don't recall, YouTube it.
Finally, a shout-out to the dancers who executed flawlessly IN HEELS IN THE RAIN. That created new meaning to Girls Getting it Done Right.
