Ladies and Gentlemens-
Welcome to the world our new baby, born at 5:50pm today, January 30th, 2007. She weighs 6lbs and is named Lolita.
She has compatibility issues with AutoCAD. Ugh. Oh well. Her stuff is shiny and new.

A Death in the Family
Some of you may have heard already, but there has been a death in my family. My beloved laptop, Dora the Second, suffered a massive coronary at 10:37am yesterday, January 24th, 2007. After performing ReBoot in the field repeatedly, I took her to the DCIT Laptop Medical Service Center in the Student Union. Unfortunately, they were unable to revive her. Her memory is preserved, but there was too much damage to her motherboard, and the doctors told me a transplant was unlikely bring her back in any recognizable form.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to "Abby's new laptop fund", at 6331 University Station.

I need more electronics to judge me.
I rated my life. I copied the idea (and link) from Dia's EncyclopeDIA blog. I did better than I wanted to. I apparently lack spirit. And the rest is on you people. I thought I rated you kindly but apparently my friends/family are dragging me down. There were a lot of grandparent questions though, and I'm down to only 25% of mine. Whatever. The internet's not really an authority. I think you kids are top notch.
