Some of you may have heard already, but there has been a death in my family. My beloved laptop, Dora the Second, suffered a massive coronary at 10:37am yesterday, January 24th, 2007. After performing ReBoot in the field repeatedly, I took her to the DCIT Laptop Medical Service Center in the Student Union. Unfortunately, they were unable to revive her. Her memory is preserved, but there was too much damage to her motherboard, and the doctors told me a transplant was unlikely bring her back in any recognizable form.

NOOOOOO! Oh, and damage to the motherboard, what a horrible way to go. My Toshi is an adventurer, she'll probably go down in a blaze of falling off the desk or spilled soda.
